Implementation of various schemes for Scheduled Tribes Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Adivasi and Alemari communities

1. Self Employment Program(SEP) 

                                                                                                                                                                                                    

                                                                                                           

 Self Employment Direct Loan

 To facilitate the beneficiaries to engage themselves in small business activities like petty shop, readymade garments shop, sheep and goat rearing, fishery, fruits and vegetable shop, tailoring, etc. The corporation is extending financial assistance of Rs.50,000/- to each beneficiary.  This amount of assistance includes a subsidy of Rs.25,000/- and a Loan of Rs.25,000/-.

Industries Services and Business(2.0)

 Under this scheme, the beneficiaries will be financially assisted to take up various business activities viz., small scale industry,  purchase of Taxi Vehicles, Piggery, Poultry, Goat Farming, Establishment of Advocate Office, Beauty Parlour, Readymade Garments, DTP center, etc.   This scheme is implemented in coordination with the banks.  The maximum amount of assistance will be 70% of the unit cost, the maximum is Rs.2.00 lakhs and the remaining portion of the unit cost will be sanctioned by the banks as a loan.

 

Industries Services and Business(3.5)

 This Scheme is implemented in association with the Banks.  Unemployed Scheduled Tribes youths are assisted under the scheme by extending financial assistance to availing the goods transport vehicle.  The maximum amount of assistance will be 70% of the unit cost, the maximum is Rs.3.50 lakhs and the remaining portion of the unit cost will be sanctioned by the banks as a loan.

Prerana (Micro Credit Finance) Scheme

                                                                                                                                     

     Financial assistance will be extended to the Scheduled Tribe women members of the Self Help Groups belonging to Nomadic and Semi Nomadic Group to engage them in income-generating activities.  The quantum of assistance is Rs. 25,000/- per member consisting of Rs.15,000/- subsidy and loan of Rs.10,000/- and the assistance will be released to the SHG.
